OVS alum Evan Graham Arango is the founder of Ojai Roots, an incredibly successful farm that distributes its bounty throughout the community, including in the kitchens at the Upper and Lower campuses.
OVS student leaders have launched a Homework Hotline aimed at providing academic support to the rest of the student body.
The free tutoring program was first proposed at the start of the school year by the Student Leadership committee, which is made up of students from across the 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
Senior Capstones are a longstanding tradition at Ojai Valley School, as students are tasked with creating projects that combine their talents and passions with values they have learned and and that have been fostered at OVS.
The Discord outbreak has not skipped over the OVS community. There are approximately 6 OVS servers, ranging from Minecraft dedicated servers to small chat rooms for friend groups.
A new opportunity for college scholarships and academic honors has taken root at the Upper Campus, with junior Sarita Guede Hallock founding the OVS chapter of the California Scholarship Federation.
