As they walk into the studio to start their three-hour-long practice, Harley Wachter and Riley Young brace themselves for their once comfortable space to become intoxicating, yet overbearing. The two girls dedicate endless hours to putting forth the excellence that is expected of them.

OVS alum Charlie Ercoli Coe has made her film making love, her life. As a full-time filmmaker, she started her own company, Simulacra Pictures. She also recently had one of her films featured as a part of the New York Film Festival’s 60th anniversary. 

Guest sculptor Christopher Corson -- the uncle of Upper Campus math teacher Darcy Corson -- explained his process and inspiration to a group of ceramics students earlier this week.

For several weeks now, the AP Spanish class at OVS has been working with ceramics teacher Margaret Haden to make plates in the Hispanic-based Majolica style.
