On Wednesday the OVS boys soccer team retook their spot on the top of the Omega League, by beating SCVI 8-1.
Senior Logan Wallace opened the scoring with a beautiful freekick from outside the box, floating it into the top right corner of the net.
Seniors Eugene Fisher and Lucas Felipe both made goals, alongside the hat trick (which is three goals) made by Junior Maximillian Berninger. Ben Manning and Shuhei Kotani both made goals as well, securing the win.
“I’m proud of our team for bouncing back after our unfortunate losses earlier in the season,” said Ben. “We’ve been working really hard and I think we deserve the title.”
The OVS boys are as good as ever and are competing for the league title.
