Congratulations on a big week for the OVS girls volleyball team, which qualified for CIF and celebrated its seniors on the final night of Omega League play.

OVS runners had a great showing Wednesday at their first Omega League cross country meet of the season.

Frances Willsrud, a freshman with nine years of riding experience, is Ojai Valley Schools’ first Interscholastic Equestrian Association National Champion, winning first place in the Equitation and fifth in the Varsity Intermediate Dressage Test - Individual Class. 

Sophomore golfer Jay Galgano is headed into CIF play after securing a postseason bid last week at the Omega League championship.

The Ojai Valley School track team produced five individual Omega League champions — and two relay championship teams — at its league final last week.

After losing several veteran players, OVS baseball defied expectations to put together a winning season and a lot of exciting wins.
