In the early morning darkness of May 1st, On the Hill reporters documented the routines of OVS workers and staff to shed light on their often unnoticed contributions to the community. Here is a day in their lives.
Starting at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, wind-driven snow flurries began whipping through the Upper Campus, sparking surprise and delight for a student and teacher population unaccustomed to such an uncommon weather occurrence.
The freshman boys went out to explore the Matilija Wilderness. These boys played Spikeball, jumped into water holes and hiked around Matilija Creek.
