As they walk into the studio to start their three-hour-long practice, Harley Wachter and Riley Young brace themselves for their once comfortable space to become intoxicating, yet overbearing. The two girls dedicate endless hours to putting forth the excellence that is expected of them.
For the first time in OVS history, both the boys and girls cross country teams have won league championships in the same season.
Both teams earned Omega League crowns at Wednesday’s league final held at the fast-and-flat Soule Park cross country course in Ojai.
