On Wednesday, January 23 on the Oak Grove field, OVS swept both the boys and girls soccer contests.

For the girls game, the team took a 7-1 win. With goals from freshman Piper Snowber, junior Zela Henderson, senior Margo Eramova and senior Claire Alexander as well as a hat trick from senior Avery Colborn, the girls worked hard together and showed great teamwork. Senior Caspian Ellis had great passes and sophomore Catie Jo Larkin displayed great defensive work, with all of the girls having one of their best showings of the season.
The girls will be able to showcase their skills once again on Saturday, January 25 against Thacher JV.
The boys team triumphed with a 16-2 win. With multiple first time goals from many of the players, the boys worked together and display great teamwork. Senior Sebastian Wayman-Dalo scored his first goal of the season after receiving an admirable pass from freshman Eiki Fukuyama.
On Saturday, January 25, the boys will host Midland at OVS for their first match against the school.
