In response to the wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles, OVS students on both campuses have decided to contribute their share to the national response.
Last summer, senior and Prefect Rory Liu had the idea to start a peer tutoring program during nighttime study hall. Currently, six students are in the library every Wednesday night, prepared to help their peers.
With a new school year on the horizon, OVS administrators collectively decided to begin enforcing the no-phone rule, upsetting a large portion of the student body.
