Whether we stop to realize it or not, the pets on campus add tremendous value to our lives. With that in mind, we at On The Hill have checked in on our furry friends at the Upper Campus and have set out to tell their stories as a reminder of what is truly important in our small world.

New Upper Campus math teacher Krystal Reyes is a self-professed wanderer, and her students are happy that her adventures have taken her to Ojai Valley School this year.

When it comes to OVS’s current teachers, Ms. Shepherd may be the only one who has gone through a similar process as the school's many international students.

Mr. O'Brien moved 3,000 miles to the small town of Ojai, California from his hometown of Watertown, Connecticut, eager to start a new chapter of his life. 

24-year-old Joli Ruby takes on her first teaching job at Ojai Valley School. Although she is inexperienced, she is ambitious and is quickly gaining the respect of her students and colleagues.

In his short time at OVS, he has done it all. From Garage Band to Surfing to AP History, Tyson Luneau has impacted the small community in a variety of aspects, and students are sad to see him leave.
