OVS girls basketball earned their second win of the season last Friday, defeating Beacon Hill 40-24.
One of the best performances from Friday night’s game was from Junior Annie Heinman with 13 points. Annie grabbed plenty of rebounds and worked hard to lead the girls team to a win.
Senior Hannah Little was also a big contributor scoring 11 points and working hard on the defensive end to shut down the Beacon Hill offense.
“It’s cool that our team is finally getting the hang of basketball,” says Senior Ella Schuette, she has been on the team for two years. “It’s awesome to see us working together, and instead of being an individual unit we are finally one.”
The girls finished off Friday night content with their win and were ready for their next opponent.
