This year’s seniors sent out more than 400 applications and received nearly 160 acceptances. They earned entrance to top-notch small private liberal arts schools such as Vassar, Skidmore and Reed, and big public universities such as LSU, UC Berkeley and the University of Washington.

Love is in the Air

Over the years, at least 21 OVS alumni couples have tied the knot. Though some only met for the first time at alumni events or didn’t even begin a romantic relationship until they were out of school, they eventually found themselves together at the altar.

Mindful Matter

A former student of the upper campus, Carmen Doane-Barkan came back to school in 2017 as the weekend coordinator. This year, she's taken on another daunting task: she's become the school's brand-new AP Psychology teacher.

Not-So-Lone Wolfe

OVS welcomed a brand-new AP and Honors Calculus teacher at the beginning of the new school year. Her name is Rosalyn Wolfe and here's what you need to know about her.
