Since the 1960s, the Condor League has been home to a handful of small private schools from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. However, change is right around the corner, and that change is coming from Ojai Valley School.
The fall season is in full swing as OVS sports teams completed a busy and successful week with the girls volleyball team winning both of their games against Besant Hill, and cross country bringing home a plethora of personal records.
Continuing their winning streak from last year’s championship season, the OVS girls' cross country team put on a dominating performance to win their league opener Wednesday at Dunn School.
The OVS sports teams had a busy week with two volleyball games, against Midland and Oak Grove, and the first cross-country meet of the season in a non-league competition with the Omega League.
The OVS cross country team competed in the league championship at Dunn and the girls’ team was crowned Condor League champions after all seven runners placed in the top ten.
