Who is Ron Swanson’s saxophone-playing alter ego?
The newest student to the Upper Campus, Logan Daily, knows the answer (it’s Duke Silver, in case you were wondering). Logan is a freshman who transferred from Ventura High school in early October, but, more importantly, he is a die-hard fan of the TV show Parks and Recreation.
Currently, on the “Quizup” website, which is “The Biggest Trivia Game in the World,” Logan is ranked #1 in the world on Parks and Rec trivia. That has gained the attention of people around the school, one being freshman classmate Alex Alvarez.
“I think it’s impressive that he is ranked 1st in the world,” Alex said. “Especially because of how young he is.”
Parks and Recreation has seven seasons with a total of 125 episodes. Logan’s on his 15th time watching the show.In between rewatching seasons of Parks and Recreation, Logan will take a break and watch a movie after he finishes the last episode. Then, he’ll start the show all over again. The time it takes him to finish all seven seasons on average is 2 ½ – 3 weeks.
Despite having watched the show 15 times, he said he doesn’t plan to start a new show anytime soon.
“[I’ll] probably just [watch] Parks and Rec again,” Logan said.
Logan said his favorite Parks and Rec quote was, “I have no idea what I’m doing, but I know I’m doing it really, really well.” He knows it well enough to state the entire quote off the top of his head.
“It applies to a lot of things you do,” he said. “If you try it, you will figure it out eventually.”
