Tonight at the Lower Campus, the long awaited musical will finally open. Students have been practicing every chance they get — during electives period, during study hall, and at night after they finally finish their homework, the actors learn their lines.
The 32 boarders, 10 day students and five faculty members in the musical have put their all into the production, and it hasn’t been easy. Not only have they had to learn their lines, but also the lyrics to the songs and the steps to the dances.
All of this effort has gone into the two day production of Monty Robin and the Men in Tights (Search for the Holy Grail), a combination of Robin Hood, Camelot, and Monty Python.
Spectators will watch as King Arthur and his not-so-brave knights discuss their dinner at the round table, they will meet Robin Hood and Maid Marion, and join Lady Guinevere in song and dance.
Join us Thursday or Friday (or both nights, if you want) at 7 p.m. at the Greenberg Activities Center for a night filled with music, dance, and silliness.
