On Wednesday, Ojai Valley School student leaders presented a check for $630 to the Ventura County Humane Society, delivering the proceeds from Ojai Day sales to the Ojai animal shelter.
A larger than usual number of students are receiving early admission to colleges. As of November 1, four students had already heard good news from their prospective schools, with some already earning admission to their top-choice schools.
Since the onset of the pandemic, many adults have not wanted to return to jobs in the service industry, which has provided the opportunity for many young people to become employed. An extremely large number of OVS students have taken advantage of the openings and gone out and gotten jobs.
