As referenced in an April New Yorker magazine article (see cover art above), there has been a disturbing shift away from the humanities at all levels of education, especially at the university level where fewer and fewer students are choosing to pursue those areas of study.
So much has changed since John and Lisa Boyd arrived for their first day of work at the Upper Campus more than three decades ago, and together they shaped the OVS music, science, and photography programs. But now, after 37 years, it’s time for them to say goodbye.
After eight years at Ojai Valley School, doing everything from IT and computer science classes, to teaching AP Psychology and running the front desk at the Upper Campus, Dana Quinn has chosen to move on to her next chapter.
