Hip-Hop enthusiast and die-hard fan of running, OVS senior Siyu Lai is one of the most exceptional athletes at our school. Not only is he a gifted scholar, he also works tirelessly day and night in preparation for track season. 

A Week of Wins for Basketball

This week has been jam-packed with basketball games for both the girls and the boys teams, competing in contests against Besant Hill, Thacher, and Dunn all over the course of a few days. The OVS squads brought home several wins.

Winter Teams Bring Home Wins

As OVS welcomes the students back to the second semester after a three-week break, the winter sports season has jumped back into full swing. Boys basketball, boys soccer, and girls soccer all brought home wins this past week.

New Winter Coach: Dave Andrews

World record holding weightlifter Dave Andrews is the new boys soccer coach this winter season. Having grown up playing soccer and developing a knowledge of the game, Andrews is leading the team towards a season of success.

New Winter Coach: Paloma Sandoval

Former OVS student and current nurse Paloma Sandoval has begun her first season as the Upper girls soccer team. She hopes to build the program, strengthen the team, and help her players cultivate a deep understanding and love for the sport.
