Leaping In To Black History Month

French teacher Helena Pasquarella lead a Leap for the month of February celebrating Black History Month. The group worked together to discuss issues that people of color have faced in America, and hung up posters in the hallways with questions and art.

The Mathemagician

Junior Mark Pindur is a top scholar at Ojai Valley School, and specifically a standout mathematician. Recently he has demonstrated just how much he loves math by rallying together a group of students to showcase their skills in math competitions.

Crossword Craze

This year, a crowd of crossword devotees has sprouted at the Upper Campus, with some becoming so obsessed with the puzzles that they do them anywhere and everywhere they can. At any given time, you’ll find these crossword fanatics scribbling away, attempting to solve the complex clues.

Back-to-Back Champs!

In a first for Ojai Valley School, the girls’ cross country team has captured back-to-back Condor League titles, putting on a dominating performance on its home course Wednesday to earn its second league title in a row.

From Home Runs to Homeroom

Ryan Pearman looks only a couple years older than a high school kid. And this year he is in high school. But as a teacher, not as a student. Mr. Pearman is one of this year’s newest members of the OVS faculty, teaching several classes in addition to helping with athletics and coaching baseball.
