Feeling the strength of community and the radiation of gratitude throughout the campus, OVS senior Adam Pepper-Macias—who serves as publications editor for On The Hill— reflects on his experiences after returning to in-person learning.
In an effort to brighten spirits and heighten a sense of community, the OVS Student Council and members of the community have begun hosting various online activities for students to participate in together while they are unable to meet in person. The events so far have included group trivia games, online drawing competitions, and more.
When coronavirus was still isolated to one country, when there were still no confirmed cases in the United States, when no schools had closed down, and when we still met for milk and crackers in the amphitheater, Tanishia Brown was preparing. Ms. Brown, the Nurse Administrator at Ojai Valley School, works hard to remain OVS’s most knowledgeable resource on the virus.
