OVS’s First Responder

When coronavirus was still isolated to one country, when there were still no confirmed cases in the United States, when no schools had closed down, and when we still met for milk and crackers in the amphitheater, Tanishia Brown was preparing. Ms. Brown, the Nurse Administrator at Ojai Valley School, works hard to remain OVS’s most knowledgeable resource on the virus.

College Closures in Wake Of COVID-19

In the wake of the coronavirus spreading to the United States, colleges and universities were among the first educational institutions to shut down due to the threat of exposure. OVS alums felt the full force of those closures.

Food Fight

The decades-old Senior Snack Shop has been an Ojai Valley School tradition for every senior class since its inception in 1983. But now, over 30 years later, the Snack Shop has some tough competition, giving the seniors a run for their money.

Rising Star

Sophomore Beckett McDowell has been singing and playing guitar almost since he was born. He plays weekly sets at local bars and venues, and his shows only keep getting bigger and better. He is deadset on being a rockstar, and he is not changing his tune.
