New Swimmers Take Their Mark

For the first time in OVS history, there is now a competitive swim team offered as a spring sport. Rallied together by junior Bella Slosberg and coached by Matt Olexiewicz, seven girls can be seen starting their workouts before the sun comes up.

Baseball is Back!

The OVS baseball team opened its season this week with two non-league contests, dropping a competitive game to Nordhoff High School before posting a convincing win against Cate School.

Triple Threat

Junior Bella Slosberg is not only an impressive student at the Ojai Valley School, but she is also a star athlete in the swimming, running, and biking realms - or in other terms, a triathlete. And, she has recently qualified for the Toyota USA Triathlon National Age Group Championships.

Taking The Future By The Reins

Senior Caspian Ellis is a go-getter at OVS and a top scholar who continuously defines the ideal student here at the school. As if being a full-time student and participant at OVS wasn’t enough, she also is a nationally ranked equestrian, riding five days a week and competing various times throughout the year.

Boys Soccer Plays Hard In CIF

The OVS boys soccer squad showed a lot of heart Wednesday in its CIF playoff game against Vasquez High, losing 2-0 in what for boys soccer was the first CIF playoff game in school history.

A Week of Wins for Basketball

This week has been jam-packed with basketball games for both the girls and the boys teams, competing in contests against Besant Hill, Thacher, and Dunn all over the course of a few days. The OVS squads brought home several wins.
