Connecting the Class of 2020

Members of the Class of 2020 from states across the country have come together in a social media driven initiative to unite seniors that have lost the final parts of their high school career to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Good Read

For the past three weeks, as OVS has implemented remote learning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Upper Campus librarian Devyn Reynolds has set out to keep alive her connection to the OVS community by creating a virtual interpretation of her storytelling elective.

New Swimmers Take Their Mark

For the first time in OVS history, there is now a competitive swim team offered as a spring sport. Rallied together by junior Bella Slosberg and coached by Matt Olexiewicz, seven girls can be seen starting their workouts before the sun comes up.

Baseball is Back!

The OVS baseball team opened its season this week with two non-league contests, dropping a competitive game to Nordhoff High School before posting a convincing win against Cate School.

Triple Threat

Junior Bella Slosberg is not only an impressive student at the Ojai Valley School, but she is also a star athlete in the swimming, running, and biking realms - or in other terms, a triathlete. And, she has recently qualified for the Toyota USA Triathlon National Age Group Championships.

Taking The Future By The Reins

Senior Caspian Ellis is a go-getter at OVS and a top scholar who continuously defines the ideal student here at the school. As if being a full-time student and participant at OVS wasn’t enough, she also is a nationally ranked equestrian, riding five days a week and competing various times throughout the year.
