New Swimmers Take Their Mark

For the first time in OVS history, there is now a competitive swim team offered as a spring sport. Rallied together by junior Bella Slosberg and coached by Matt Olexiewicz, seven girls can be seen starting their workouts before the sun comes up.

Leaping In To Black History Month

French teacher Helena Pasquarella lead a Leap for the month of February celebrating Black History Month. The group worked together to discuss issues that people of color have faced in America, and hung up posters in the hallways with questions and art.

Baseball is Back!

The OVS baseball team opened its season this week with two non-league contests, dropping a competitive game to Nordhoff High School before posting a convincing win against Cate School.

The Mathemagician

Junior Mark Pindur is a top scholar at Ojai Valley School, and specifically a standout mathematician. Recently he has demonstrated just how much he loves math by rallying together a group of students to showcase their skills in math competitions.

Senior Superstars

After years of watching school concerts, musicals and performances, seniors Aaron Wolf, Thomas Christopher and Aiden Robertson have decided to take on the stage in their final year at OVS by joining the cast of Grease, this year’s winter musical.
