In the weeks before school shutdown due to Coronavirus concerns, a new feature had sprung up in the main hallway at Burr Hall. Dubbed Art Alley, the previously barren hallway now serves as center stage for a collection of student artwork.

College Closures in Wake Of COVID-19

In the wake of the coronavirus spreading to the United States, colleges and universities were among the first educational institutions to shut down due to the threat of exposure. OVS alums felt the full force of those closures.

Food Fight

The decades-old Senior Snack Shop has been an Ojai Valley School tradition for every senior class since its inception in 1983. But now, over 30 years later, the Snack Shop has some tough competition, giving the seniors a run for their money.

A Cut Above

On a cool Wednesday afternoon, in the minutes just before lunch, a dozen OVS community members gathered at the Upper Campus to make a great sacrifice: their hair. The hair cutting campaign was in support of OVS seventh grader Jake Larkin, who at just five years old was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a bone marrow failure disease which is life threatening and extremely hard to cure.
